It is wedding season in the Northern Hemisphere and with that comes the mild full-blown panic over what to wear...and particularly in the UK, what to wear on your head! If etiquette dictates that you must wear something on your head but you aren't keen on a hat, try a simple tulle fascinator like Peony's or a lovely floral garland like Natalie's (in the post above this one).
Canadian model Mackenzie Hamilton, Paris, March 2012.
Love Mackenzie's old-school Paris map book - it was the one I used to use before I got my iPhone (and which I now couldn't live without as I have a rubbish sense of direction....even this last week in Paris for the couture shows I managed to lead a group of photographers in completely the wrong direction after we came off the Metro!).
Aline Weber, after Stella McCartney, Paris, March 2012.
Love Aline's off-duty style and the clever way that she makes pieces from her wardrobe work when she is travelling. For example, this velvet jacket she took from super casual (i.e. teaming with cut-off jean shorts) to the more sophisticated look in the photograph above. It isn't easy to pack for a long trip away so pieces that can go easily, effortlessly from day into night (and which don't take up much space in your suitcase) are essential.
Anya Ziourova, Fashion Director Tatler Russia, before Valentino, Paris March 2012.
I love everything that Anya wears (and she is super nice as well) and this is no exception. It has a faintly nautical feel about it......if double stripes are too much, wear as separates.
As always waaaay too many photos here but I couldn't resist. Love this sportif outfit on Hanneli (the college/Varsity jacket taken to the next level.....or at least to higher ground with those wooden platform heels!) and the way she has pinned back her hair....perfect if you are growing out a fringe.
Okay, so Elisa always looks amazing (the way that she wears colour, her quirky accessories, even her hair colour and lipstick are stunning) but the thing that I adore most about Elisa is her smile. She always seems to be laughing, smiling, beaming - and that has to be the very best accessory of all :)
Sabrina Meijer from AfterDRK blog, Paris, March 2012.
I love Sabrina's style - she is one of those girls that just looks so effortlessly cool no matter what the weather. And those heels? hellooooo! I am still in awe that she could walk in them so well (this is coming from someone who sprained her ankle rather badly a couple of months ago wearing.....sneakers!)
