London Fashion Week AW 2012...Camille

Camille from Over the Rainbow blog, Somerset House, London, February 2012.

Today's posts were also suppose to be inspiration looks you could wear on the weekend (adjusted for the weather of course!) for coffee with friends, trawling antique/car boot/food markets, brunch at a cafe or the movies  ...but since we are almost at the end of the weekend that idea is rather redundant ;) No matter, there is always next weekend!

Recreate Camille's look (kind of):

Love the pretty peachy/pink colour of Camille's jeans. Try Rag & Bone/Jean skinny jeans, J Brand super skinny jeans,  or ASOS skinny jeans

IRO Piper sweater, Young Fabulous & Broke Rainbow sweater, Helmut Lang Asymmetric paneled sweater, Topshop Breton jumper

Add two-tone flats: Tory Burch Kaitlin ballet flats, J.Crew Cece ballet flats, Manolo Blahnik quilted two-tone flats

CC Skye Roma cuff,  Michael Kors sport watch

p.s. If you need something to do this evening or next weekend, I absolutely loved, loved, loved Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom which was all shot on Super 16mm film. Brilliant.

New York Fashion Week SS 2012...Gertrud

Love this cute shorts masquerading as skirt look (apparently it is uncool to say skort?! who knew;))

p.s. Anyone know if this is Gertrud Hegelund? It is embarrassing when I get people's name wrong so I like to be sure :)

Edit: yes, it is Gertrud! Thanks you @anonymous

Recreate her super cute look (kind of):

Pull on a lightweight sweater (layered over a tank or t-shirt) until the weather gets warmer: Nation LTD Pomona sweatshirt, Joie Denis pullover, Raquel Allegra two-tone sweater

Marc by Marc Jacobs Saatchi shorts, Thakoon banded shorts, Cheap Monday Janey shorts or D&G floral print shorts (such a pretty print for spring)

Slip on some sandals: Rachel Zoe Gladys sandal, Steven Benit suede sandals, Maison Martin Margiela suede ankle wrap sandals or Steve Madden Bethany sandals

Balenciaga handbag

New York Fashion Week AW 2012...MJ

MJ, after Rodarte, NYC, February 2012

Absolutely adore Aussie model, MJ (Wilhelmina agency) she is super nice, funny and very grounded. And you get the feeling that no matter how big she becomes, she will always remain that way.

And I loved that she walked in the Rodarte show. MJ still lives at home in Alice Springs in Australia (which is pretty much at the heart of the Australian Outback) and the Mulleavy sisters' inspiration for the fall collection was.....The Australian Outback!
